About the Tour de Bago

The Tour de Bago is a non-competitive 84-mile bike ride around Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin’s largest in-land lake, located in northeastern Wisconsin.

The fifth annual Tour de Bago will take place on Saturday, June 13th, 2015 with riders leaving promptly at 7:30 AM from Menasha, WI.

Riders will be responsible for carrying all of their food, water, gear, and any other items they may need along the course.  Several public parks and businesses are located along the way that may be used to refill water bottles or use the bathroom.  There will be one aid/rest station, located approximately at Mile 40 in Fond du Lac.  Here, riders may take a break, rest, eat, drink, and receive any medical attention from the registered nurse that will be on hand.  In addition to the designated aid station there are often opportunities for spectators to assist riders with food, hydration, and rides.  The Tour de Bago is NON-COMPETITIVE event, a fun and recreational bike tour and nothing else.  Riders are encouraged to participate regardless of ability level; the focus of the day is to have FUN and also stay SAFE.  As long as everyone stays safe, has fun, and learns a little about themselves then the event will be a HUGE SUCCESS.
